No account. No cloud. No network access. Your clips never leave your Mac.

Sticky Clipboard's expanded panel hanging from the top of the screen: pinboards on the left, a grid of clips in the middle (notes, links, colors, code, images and files) and the selected red color clip in the inspector on the right with Paste and Paste as Plain Text buttons.

It understands what you copied.

Every clip is recognised and shown the right way: a swatch for a color, a thumbnail for an image, the file's icon and name for a file.

Features

A clipboard that remembers, and stays out of your way.

One shortcut, any app

Press ⇧⌘V and your recent clips drop down from the top of the screen without stealing focus from the app you are in.

Pasted for you

Pick a clip with the arrow keys and Return, or press ⌘1 to ⌘9, and it is pasted straight into the app you were using.

Plain text when you want it

Add ⇧ to paste without formatting. Select several clips and paste them together, in order.

Search as you type

Start typing and results appear instantly, across your whole history and every pinboard.

Pinboards

Keep snippets, colors and links you reuse on pinboards you name and color. Pinned clips are kept when history is cleaned up.

Edit and rename

Give a clip a title, fix its text with formatting intact, or write a new clip from scratch.

Quick transforms

Uppercase, trim or URL-encode a clip in one click. The original stays as it was.

Quick Look and drag

Press Space to preview any clip, or drag it straight into another app.

Make it yours

Choose your shortcut, how long history is kept and how the panel animates. Follows light and dark appearance.

Quick strip

Your last clips, right under the notch.

The panel opens small: your most recent clips in a row, each with its ⌘ number. Scroll sideways for more, or expand it for search, pinboards and tools.

The quick strip: a black panel under the top edge of the screen showing four clips, a note, a link, a red color and a Terminal command, labelled ⌘1 to ⌘4.

Pinboards

Pin what you reuse.

Your email signature, the hex codes of a brand, the commands you always forget. Pin them once and they are always there.

  • Create pinboards with a name and one of eight colors.
  • Pin from the context menu, or drag clips onto a pinboard.
  • Drag to reorder pinboards and the clips inside them.
The Snippets pinboard open, holding an email signature, a sourdough recipe, a line of Swift code and a documentation link.

Privacy

Your clipboard is yours.

Never connects to the internet

Sticky Clipboard has no network access at all. Your clips are stored on your Mac and nowhere else.

Skips your passwords

Items that password managers mark as confidential are never saved. Pause capture or ignore specific apps whenever you like.

No data collected

No account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising. Delete a clip, or all of them, at any time.
